Lucy Crook

Lucy joined Avocados Australia in April 2026 as Communications Manager, leading the delivery of the organisation’s flagship magazine Talking Avocados, the Guacamole newsletter, grower and industry notices, and timely industry updates.

With more than ten years’ experience in marketing and communications, Lucy has held roles at QUT’s Science and Engineering Faculty, CSIRO and the Queensland Department of Primary Industries. Her career has focused on translating research into clear, compelling stories that support engagement, collaboration and investment across industry and government.
