Avocado Production R&D Summit

Researchers, growers and agronomists are encouraged to attend Avocados Australia’s Avocado Production R&D Summit that’s happening from 8.30am to 5.00pm on Wednesday 10 September at the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre (2 Dryandra Rd, Brisbane Airport).

This year’s theme is “Profitable Production“. With the cost of production increasing year-on-year, we know that Australian avocado growers need help to find more profitable ways to grow and supply their produce to the industry’s various markets.

The Summit’s Purpose
To bring researchers, growers, agronomists, and other industry stakeholders from all growing regions together to network and share information on key production based avocado levy funded R&D. Attendees will have opportunities to hear key findings and updates from levy funded R&D projects from a profitable production perspective. They will also be able to ask questions and provide suggestions for future R&D.

Presentations will be of a technical nature based on the Avocado levy funded Production R&D portfolio.

Please note: Resellers are also welcome however their attendance is limited to one person per company as priority will be given to researchers, growers and agronomists.

Post-Event networking:
Drinks and canapes will be served as part of a complimentary networking event that will take place after the summit, in the same venue, from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
