CQ Consultation Session & Export Regional Forum

 

On Wednesday 29 October 2025 from 2pm to 4.30pm, Hort Innovation and Avocados Australia will be holding a Central QLD (CQ) Growers’ Consultation session at the Burnett Riverside Hotel (7 Quay Street, Bundaberg Central) and all growers in the region are invited.

The consultation session will be followed by Avocados Australia’s CQ Avocado Export Regional Forum for growers and exporters happening from 5pm to 6.40pm in the same venue. Refreshments will be provided and the day will end with a FREE Networking Dinner (6.40pm-8.30pm). Places are limited so registration is essential (and free)!

The CQ Growers’ Consultation Session will provide you with the opportunity to raise any issues and provide input into the industry’s strategic planning process including ordering strategic priorities in order of importance. Avocados Australia and Hort Innovation want to hear your views and will ensure they are represented. Those who register will receive some background information that can go through that will assist with the planning process over the coming months.

The CQ Avocado Export Regional Forum will provide growers and exporters with the latest expert advice and updates on exports, from market access developments to new insights on export outturn quality. The event is aimed at providing information and advice to growers on how to get the most from exporting, supporting the industry on how it may grow the export sector, with practical information to help growers, packers & exporters.
