Regional Forum – CNSW – Stuarts Point

Soil health focus for Central NSW Regional Forum

Avocados Australia and the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) invite all growers and interested stakeholders to the Central NSW Avocado Regional Forum to hear the latest industry updates and to explore soil health in avocado production.

Dr Nerida Donovan from NSW DPI will talk about how understanding your soil health can lead to improvements in orchard productivity and fruit quality. Growers are asked to bring a sample of topsoil (approximately 1 cup – not mulch) from their own orchards for the practical session. The soil sample should be packaged and labelled clearly in a ziplock sandwich bag please.
