Nominations open: Hort Innovation

Horticultural levy payers are being urged to nominate to be on the Hort Innovation Director Nomination Committee. Levy payer involvement in this committee was secured at the organisation’s 2017 AGM following extensive levy payer engagement to change the constitution. The Department of Agriculture and Water Resources has engaged the Voice of Horticulture to manage the selection process. We strongly encourage levy payers to nominate for these positions and attend the information sessions. Click here for the EOI documentation (PDF).

New marketing campaign research

Interested in seeing the research underpinning your industry’s new three-year marketing campaign? The primary objective of the research was to understand avocado consumers in terms of the different types of consumer segments, their barriers and triggers to purchase, their purchasing behaviour, usage behaviour and a profile of who they are. You can find the Quantum research report in the BPR Library’s Marketing Reports section.

The BPR is our free online one-stop-shop to support best practice throughout the Australian avocado supply chains. We encourage all of our stakeholders to register and access this vital resource. You can log in (or request access!) via www.avocado.org.au/best-practice-resource/.
