Hort Connections attracts over 3,500 hort industry stakeholders
Last week from 4 to 6 June, Hort Connections – Australia and New Zealand’s largest horticulture conference and trade show – brought together over 3,500 delegates from the horticulture industry. Over 400 exhibitors took part in the extensive exhibition trade hall showcasing the latest products and services of relevance to the industry.
On day 2 the day started with the Perfection Fresh Breakfast. The highlight being a motivational speech from Mark Mathews, a Big Wave Surfer. Delegates then moved on to attend a range of plenary sessions, industry meetings and the extensive trade show.
Trade exhibits were emphasising innovations, automation and productivity-focussed solutions. The conference theme of Grow – Connect – Thrive is being reflected in the range of subjects being presented. Sustainable, profitable practices seem to be top of mind for growers.
