Hort Innovation’s 2024/25 Annual Report OUT NOW!
In the 2024/25 reporting period Hort Innovation invested $171.2 million across more than 400 projects supported by grower levies, Australian Government contributions, grants and co-investment. These investments have delivered tangible outcomes, from grower-led technology trials and food safety research to new export market access and varietal development.

2025 Domestic Marketing Showcase – WATCH THE VIDEO!
This video features a 2025 Marketing Showcase presentation by Hort Innovation delivered online on Wednesday 5 November 2025. It lets growers know how levies are being invested to drive marketing outcomes that correlate directly with positive consumer behaviours, increased consumption and returns for growers.

Australian-Grown Innovation Program ENGAGE WORKSHOPS
Hort Innovation are running 2 Australian-Grown Innovation Program ENGAGE Workshops, one in NSW at Summerland Farm on Thursday 27 November, the other in WA at Manjimup on Thursday 4 December.
They will be dynamic, in-person workshops designed for growers and supply chain participants to explore innovation in horticulture, share insights, and gain hands-on tools from real industry leaders with practical experience.
Participants will learn why innovation matters, engage in practical exercises using frameworks like the Business Model Canvas and Value Proposition Canvas, and hear from successful innovators across the horticulture sector.
The program focuses on actionable outcomes, helping attendees identify opportunities to diversify income, improve efficiency, and address real-world challenges through guided activities and peer learning within a supportive regional network.

Frontiers Internship program – Apply NOW!
Hort Innovation and Western Sydney University (WSU) have partnered to establish a practical internship program that aims to build the next generation of skilled professionals for Australia’s horticulture industry. Businesses can apply to host a West Sydney Uni intern for a 3-month placement at a cost of $5,500 and the co-investment from the Frontiers fund tops this up to pay the student a stipend and relocation costs.
Funded through Hort Frontiers, with co-investment from WSU, participating horticulture industries, and the Australian Government, this initiative connects university students with real growers and agribusinesses to gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to your operations.
