Plan your 2026 Export Journey!

The Avocado Market Access and Trade Development Project team (AV23003) have a range of initiatives coming up to help growers and exporters learn more about Asia & the Middle East and help them connect with prospective and existing trade partners. Take part & start or progress your Export Journey in 2026!

Study Tour of Asia PLUS Seasonal launches in Kuala Lumpur & Hong Kong!

Growers and exporters are invited to take part in our Asia Study Tour from 28 February to 3 March!

The “Taste the Season: Australian Avocados – From Orchard to Asia” regional study visit includes Brunei and Kuching and attendance at seasonal launch events in Kuala Lumpur (4 March) and Hong Kong (6 March).

This initiative brings the Australian avocado industry closer to our partners across Southeast Asia & Hong Kong, with a focus on deepening understanding of retail dynamics, fruit import processes, and in-market handling practices.

Those who take part can look forward to meaningful exchanges, stronger partnerships, and shared learning across the supply chain as we continue to build global opportunities for Australian avocados.

We strongly encourage growers to register now and join us to see these markets first-hand, gain on-the-ground insights. Connect directly with key partners across the supply chain!

Australian Avocados Trade presence at Gulfood 2026

We’re proud to be showcasing Australian avocados at Gulfood 2026 from 26-30 January at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Organisers regards it as the world’s largest food trade show and will have a dedicated fresh produce hall this year.

If you’re attending, be sure to stop by the Avocados Australia Stand GG-356, North Hall 12 at Expo City to connect with the team, meet fellow industry stakeholders, and experience the creamy, buttery quality Australian avocados are known for.

Don’t miss our live cooking demo on Tuesday, 27 January, 12:00pm, featuring @Jack Jarrott, Head Chef at Mandarin Oriental, Emirates Palace. Jack will showcase creative, chef-led applications of Australian avocados and other fresh Australian produce, highlighting their versatility across premium foodservice.

We look forward to seeing you there and welcoming you to the Avocados Australia stand!
