Australia-wide RURAL AID can help

Our hearts go out to those growers in Tamborine Northern Rivers and New South Wales that are currently impacted by the recent heavy rains and flooding. Ironically, in the Tristate growing region rainfall is sorely missed and they have been experiencing very dry conditions. If you need assistance, wherever you are in Australia, you can reach out to Rural Aid. Rural Aid can offer critical support to farmers wherever they are across the country. Whether you are impacted by floods or other severe weather.

Rural Aid, Australia’s leading rural charity, is dedicated to providing practical support and vital services to farmers and rural communities. During crisis they can provide mental health support (1300 175 594 – staffed Monday to Friday 9-4pm AEDST), financial assistance, domestic water and community engagement. They partner with farmers to navigate challenges when they arise, and help with recovery from hardship to build stronger, more resilient futures.

Growers are encouraged to register with Rural Aid if you need help. Registration is the first step in receiving the vital resources and assistance required to recover.
