18 experts focus on Profitable Production at R&D Summit
On Wednesday 10 September the subject of “Profitable Production” was the main focus of 18 presentations and 4 panel sessions at the Avocado Production R&D Summit. Held at the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre, the day-long program provided the assembled growers, researchers, extension practitioners and other key avocado industry stakeholders with a opportunity to hear the details about the RD&E activities happening to address production priorities. Those gathered also heard about planned RD&E activities. Discussions were centred around: the Industry Overview; Avocado Physiology and canopy management; Production – Pollinators, Pests and Disease Management; and production R&D.
After the summit those gathered networked with the presenters.
