Anna Petrou
Communications Manager
Anna joined the Avocados Australia team in 2021. She had previously worked with Avocados Australia but left in 2015 to pursue a Masters degree.  She has now returned to oversee the delivery of avocado industry communications, including the popular industry magazine Talking Avocados and the Guacamole newsletter, as well as grower and industry notices and sharing the latest industry news. Anna is a communication and engagement specialist, and has experience in communications working in the science and agricultural sectors. She has experience in public relations, stakeholder engagement and digital communication. During her career, Anna has been involved with media content creation, major branding initiatives, community consultation, social media campaigns, and sustained promotional activities. Anna is passionate about… communicating agricultural success stories and sharing good news about the Australian avocado industry to the nation and beyond.
