Jim has been involved in the industry since 1978 when he planted his first Fuerte and Rincon trees with his brother Ed on their property at Atherton. A little while later these trees were top-worked to Hass and now grows Shepard and Hass. Click here to read more

John has a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting, Marketing and Operations Management and has been in the industry since 1996 when he started to work at the avocado orchard at Simpson Farms in the first year of packing avocados at Goodwood. Click here to read more

Eric grew up on an avocado farm in WA and has been involved in avocado farming since 2002. Eric has returned to family farming, and has recently developed a property, planting Shepard, Hass and macadamias. Click here to read more

Rob Wheatley from AustOn Corp was appointed to fill this casual vacancy in February 2021. Avocados Australia members will vote to fill this position for a full term at the November 2021 elections.

Western Australia Director
Brad Rodgers, a Certified Financial Planner, joined Avocados Australia as a Director in 2018. Brad and wife Jacinta acquired a farming property at Manjimup, WA in 2015 and produce Hass avocados, black truffles and premium wine grapes. Click here to read more

Ian has been a horticulturist for more than 40 years and has been involved in the avocado industry for 25 years. Ian and Alison Tolson’s family business comprises two avocado orchards, an avocado packing and marketing facility, a Norco Rural Store, and transport depot. Click here to read more
